This wonderful fellow features a body of white, spun cotton with black detailing at wing tips and around his amber glass eyes, and a carved coral red wooden beak. On graceful, wire wrapped legs with coral red-painted feet, he is attached to a square of green-painted wood with an adhered sprinkling of sawdust. Lift the left wing to access the hollow body where candy would be stored.
Wonderful for a variety of doll and toy vignettes and displays - perfect for watching over a nursery of babies or presiding over a Victorian Christmas scene! In good condition overall, but showing a tear/snag on the upper center back.
