We are pleased to offer a Schoenhut elephant featuring a wooden body and jointed legs with wide feet. His face is nicely detailed with an open mouth, trunk with an early plastic tip, inserted amber glass eyes, leather tusks and ears and a twisted and painted hemp tail. In wonderful condition with normal, age related wear to finish (particularly to forehead) right ear presents wear and a minor split at base of ear. Made by The A. Schoenhut Co.
