Parsons-Jackson Co. Biskoline Baby

This Parsons-Jackson Company early Biskoline baby, circa 1910, is a little piece of American toy-making history. Advertised as a "Kant Krack Kid" the swivel-neck baby is made of Biskoline, a unique product. Features include a solid dome head with painted brilliant blue eyes and a mouth with pale red inner painting. The bent-limb baby body remains in good condition, while baby’s darling antique gown is made of cream-colored cotton and pins in back. Worn underneath is a cotton diaper pinned at both hips. This baby is a fairly uncommon find. From the doll collection at Gae Gardens.
Embossed with Parsons-Jackson Co.’s stork trademark on back of neck and upper back and PARSONS JACKSON CO. CLEVELAND OHIO on back.

Measures: 11” long. Head circumference 8 1/4”.
