We are pleased to offer a darling, 1930’s-era Nancy by Arranbee. This little girl features a nicely molded and painted composition head with pink tinted cheeks, blue sleep eyes and rose red lips. Her molded and painted titian hair is styled in a sweet bob. She is on a jointed composition body in good condition, (save scattered crazing and finish loss, chipping to neck opening and neck socket.) she wears darling “Beach Pajamas” and a matching wide brimmed hat in a red, white and blue geometric pattern plus a matching tote with a towel peeking out. Silky cream stockings and cream oilcloth shoes complete her presentation (wear to shoes.)
Her trunk features a textured finish in brown and white with blue details, brass tone hardware, and a working clasp (leather handle missing.) The trunk’s interior is papered in a soft terra cotta shade and features two roomy drawers and a closet compartment with six original carton hangers. Trunk remains in good condition with scattered, age related wear and discoloration (top of hanger compartment separated.)
A wardrobe of sweet 1930’s-era garments includes two rompers, a pink tweed style coat and matching beret, a pink gauze play dress, two cotton coats and two wide brimmed hats.
