Horsman Toddler Boy - Circa 1924
Horsman Toddler Boy - Circa 1924
Here we have a darling baby boy from the Horsman firm circa 1924. Features include a compostion head with nice molding and painting including blue sleep eyes, blushed cheeks and a rose hued mouth in a sweetly pouty expression. (Minor rub to left cheek and lips, scattered surface crazing to face.) His molded and painted hair is in a sweet ginger shade. Baby’s body features a cloth torso containing a non-functioning squeaker, composition arms in good condition (save a crack on right hand and chubby composition legs that appear to have been repainted and retain a pink tinge.)
One of the sweetest aspects of this young man is his delightful nautical costume which features a soft cream cotton blouse with a striped sailor collar and short navy blue britches. Brown leather boots over cream stockings complete his presentation.
