We are pleased to present a charming, artisan made “Golliwogg.” A beloved character from the 1895 book, The Adventure of Two Dutch Dolls and a Golliwogg by Florence Kate Upton, he is crafted of fine felt including a finely stitched face with felt details, glass eyes and a soft wig. His whimsical and beautifully made costume is comprised of a two piece suit in checked brown and black cotton with a red waistcoat that is incorporated into his torso. His jointed felt body features a red felt torso, and arms with oversized black felt hands and black cotton lower legs. Darling two toned laced shoes complete his presentation.
