From the whimsical world of R. John Wright, we are pleased to present a character doll in the style of a townsperson at the turn of the last century. Features of this early Wright creation include an expertly made, fully jointed body, fine facial molding and painting with a kindly expression, blushed cheeks, and even finely molded crows feet at the edges of his brown painted eyes! His hair and mustache are crafted of soft black mohair. He wears a dapper costume comprised of gray trousers, a gray striped cotton shirt and a burgundy felt waistcoat with silver buttons. Brown leather shoes complete his presentation. He retains an R. John Wright hangtag on left wrist, comes without a box.
