From R. John Wright’s Steiff Kinder series, we are pleased to present "Katharina." This sweetly impish little girl features a fully jointed felt body and fine facial molding and painting with delicately blushed cheeks, inset brown glass eyes and painted lips. Her face is framed by a soft, ash blonde wig in braids and topped with a wreath of felt flowers. Her beautifully taliored costume features a pink silk blouse, a colorful plaid shawl, and a knee length floral skirt with a crisp cotton apron and a black felt dirndl at her waist. Underneath, she wears fine a cotton all-in-one and slip. Knitted cream stockings and black leather t-strap shoes complete her classic look. Number 214 from a limited edition of 500, she is in wonderful condition and retains her tag and button, but not her box.
