Here is a substantially sized and wonderfully crafted young man from R. John Wright’s, “Little Brother Little Sister” series. “Arthur” features a firmly stuffed and fully jointed felt body with finely articulated fingers and darling, blushed knees. His face is finely molded and features a cleft chin, painted brown eyes and deeply blushed cheeks. His sweet, painted lips are in a perpetual and adorable pout. His soft, blonde wig is in a sweet choppy style and is topped by a classic white sailor hat (hat does present scattered foxing.) He wears a sailor collar shirt of white satin stripe cotton (some age related discoloration to shirt) with a navy blue tie and green cotton shorts. Red knitted socks and cream felt oxford shoes complete his classic look. Little Arthur carries an orange wooden sailboat in his hands (scattered foxing to sails.)
Number 294 from a limited edition of 500, he retains his original paperwork and box.
