11 ¼” Chinese Door of Hope example known as a Table Boy in silk. Details include beautifully carved facial features, and a classic, black-painted hairstyle that features nicely executed striations. Featuring a stuffed cloth body, this example was given nicely carved wood arms.
His finely crafted, hand-sewn costume from two colors of silk brocade does illustrate light fading from the original hues, but the result is still pleasing to the eye. Simple satin slippers complete the presentation of this very handsome young gentleman.
