What could be more fun than the costume on this exquisite and charming R. John Wright doll made for the 2003 UFDC convention in New Orleans? Maybe the fact that she comes apart at the waist to reveal a candy container! This mademoiselle has a fully jointed felt body and a beautifully molded face with delicately blushed cheeks and painted blue eyes. Her face is framed by a soft honey blonde mohair wig with ringlet curls tied back with a red silk ribbon. Her fabulous masque costume is comprised of a pieced, striped bodice of green and taupe felt with red silk sleeves, metallic braid and a white organza ruff at her neck. She wears a skirt of diaphanous red silk with several layers of organdy underskirts in green and gold. Ruffled white organza garters at her knees and green felt shoes with red silk ties complete her ensemble. She carries a darling paper Christmas box on a silk ribbon. She is in excellent condition complete with box and tag.
