14-1/2" Rita, also known as the "Lucia-face" Lenci - details of this marvelous example includes a beautifully painted pressed felt face with the large chocolate brown eyes, a full brunette wig, on a disc jointed felt body. She wears a marvelous costume of a layered organdy skirt that features green and black felt edging upon the scalloped hem, plus applied polka-dots. Her green felt bodice features organdy sleeves, and her over-scale hat is decorated with felt “ribbon” strips in the most delightful shade of lavender.
In good condition showing light soil and some darkening to the organdy components, she is complete with a cloth tag.
