This wonderful example of a Kathe Kruse Boy features a lovely, albeit desirable solemn expression with painted-blue eyes, and deeply blushed cheeks in a still vivid rose hue (hair and face do present age-related wear throughout including a rub to nose and crazing. He is on a firmly stuffed body with the arms stitched at shoulders, jointed hips and hand stitched fingers and toes. His body presents areas of normal, age related wear and small areas of mending. It appears that at some point, a creative child embellished the soles of this doll’s feet with colorful crayon markings.

The darling costume includes a blue cotton shirt and white overalls (normal, age related wear to both garments.) Patterned brown stockings and brown leather sandals complete his classic presentation.
