For collectors of the impish and much beloved Googly, we are delighted to offer this charming little girl from the Hertel & Schwab firm, circa 1918 and deemed the “Jubilee” model. Her perfect bisque head bears an early, out of the mold crispness, molded and painted hair in a vivid ginger hue, deeply blushed cheeks, brown side glancing sleep eyes and an open-closed watermelon mouth in a sweet smile.
She is on a jointed composition toddler body in good condition save for normal, age-related wear. She wears a darling costume comprised of a black polished cotton skirt, green velvet bodice and red silk apron. Underneath, she wears antique lace trimmed underthings. Cream stockings and two-toned German leather shoes complete her presentation. Head Incised: 163-1
