Here we have a sweet young lad in marvelous Scottish dress. Features include a perfect bisque head with sweet molding and painting including gently blushed cheeks, a closed mouth and brown glass sleep eyes framed in delicately painted lashes and brows.
His darling face is framed by a titian human hair wig topped with a jaunty black velvet cap edged in red and green tartan and embellished with a thistle finding in pewter finish metal.
His wonderful costume is sewn on, but from what we can see of his jointed composition body, it retains its original finish with normal, age-related wear.
His traditional Scottish ensemble is comprised of red and green tartan, and black velvet and is accented with a white faux fur sporran at his waist. Beribboned tartan stockings and black leather shoes complete his presentation.
