This delightful German child, a “Belton” who we attribute to the Bahr & Proschild firm, features a solid dome head with luminous brown fixed eyes, a nicely painted closed mouth, an attractive strawberry blonde mohair wig, and pierced ears with antique wrapped wire earrings (finish loss throughout top of head and wear to left earring hole.)
On a ball-jointed composition body with an old re-paint to the finish and now showing normal wear, she is beautifully attired in a beautifully tailored wool coat dress in a pretty grey hue with brilliant red trim and silver buttons down the front.
A gorgeous bonnet in scarlet silk frames her face (one tie severed) while textured red leather boots complete her charming look. (Wear to boots and utilizing mis-matched buttons.) Head Incised: 204
