This early, gorgeous child by J.D. Kestner bears a sweetly pensive expression as if deep in thought. Features include perfect bisque, luminous brown fixed glass eyes with delicate shading and finely arched brows, and a closed mouth with full, pouty lips. She retains her attractive, original blonde mohair wig which is topped with a cotton bonnet edged in frilled, crocheted lace.
On a jointed composition body with straight wrists that retains the original finish with normal wear (spot of wear to right, lower arm), she is beautifully attired in an antique white cotton dress with lace accents threaded with blue silk ribbon and rows of tucks at the hem.
Underneath, she wears a fine cotton all-in-one and two lace-trimmed petticoats. Finely knitted pink cotton stockings and French style pink cotton shoes complete her classic presentation.
