This classic German boy by Simon & Halbig features a perfect socket head with very pretty bisque quality, brown glass sleep-eyes, molded and painted brows, an open mouth with two rounded, pearly front teeth, pierced ears, and a blonde mohair wig.
The fully jointed wood and composition body has been repainted and presents normal, age -related wear and flaking to finish particularly at leg openings and ball joint of right shoulder as well as a repaired pinky finger on left hand.
This handsome lad wears a charming ensemble including a charcoal grey wool jacket and short pants with a buttoned in cotton blouse with a red silk bow at the neck. A nicely tailored navy blue wool vest with silver tone buttons is worn over the ensemble. Underneath, fine cotton jersey underthings are worn, while black cotton stockings and black, patent finish shoes complete the charming look.
