A classic character child from Kammer & Reinhardt, shown here is the 101 model known to collectors as "Marie." Details include a perfect bisque head with deep modeling, blue-painted eyes that have a faraway look, and a darling mohair hair in light brown topped with a black velvet tam-o-shanter hat.
She is on a jointed composition body that bears the original paint finish with normal age related wear including a missing thumb on the left hand (to be repaired) and wear to toes including a missing right toe.
Over lace-trimmed pantalettes and a slip, Marie wears an original dress of cream loose weave cotton with a crocheted lace panel at the chest and blue and red embroidered ribbon accents. (Some soil to dress particularly at back closure.) Tan leather boots laced with ribbons are worn over finely knitted stockings in brick red. Head Incised: K*R 101 34
