"Happiness" is a sweet German character made by Bruno Schmidt. Here we have a model 2048, known as “Tommy Tucker.” Features include nice modeling and coloring to his solid dome head, with full, gently blushed cheeks (rub to left cheek, minor rub to right cheek) a double chin, brown sleep eyes and delicately painted lashes and brows. (Sleep mechanism to eyes is sticky) An open mouth reveals two rounded front teeth and the tip of a tongue. Also visible is a repair to most likely a chip to the reverse base of neck.
The fully jointed composition toddler body retains an original paint finish and does present normal age-related wear. The little cutie wears a charming costume comprised of a cotton gauze shirt with a round collar in teal blue, with matching short pants embellished with mother of pearl buttons. Underneath, a muslin all in one is worn. Brown oilcloth shoes and brown stockings complete the presentation.
