This German child from Simon & Halbig, bears a classic dolly-face with an exceptionally sweet expression and an extra special costume. She features a somewhat "moist bisque" finish with lovely coloring, pretty blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with teeth, and pierced ears with beaded glass earrings (slight peppering to nose and upper left cheek.) Her face is framed by an antique dark blonde mohair wig and the ruffles of a pink wool bonnet lined in silk and embellished with antique millinery flowers and silk ribbon.
On a fully-jointed composition body with normal age related wear, she wears a darling costume comprised of a fine cotton dress in pink and white under a pink wool coat with crocheted buttons down the front and a wide, sheer cotton collar with embroidered french knots and fine, crocheted lace edging, also seen on cuffs.
