We are pleased to offer an absolutely darling Kestner 143 mold in a desirable cabinet size. Details of this sweet little girl include a perfect bisque head with exquisite coloring, the harder to find brown sleep-eyes and a dark blonde mohair wig topped with a pink grosgrain bow.
Her jointed Kestner body bears the original finish in very good condition (save a composition chip at back neck opening.) She wears a charming dress in fine windowpane cotton with puffed sleeves, a ruched bust and lace accents. Underneath, she wears a matching chemise and pantalettes in a fine cotton organza. White oilcloth shoes and socks complete her classic presentation.
One of Kestner's earliest "character" dolls, the 143 face is a classic – and a welcome addition to any fine antique doll collection.
