Hello gorgeous! This lovely face belongs to a spectacular Simon & Halbig 939 - and what a beauty! Featuring a perfect bisque head with exceptional bisque quality, she also boasts brown paperweight eyes, pierced ears, and a lovely brown mohair wig. Her face is framed by a bonnet in cream silk and embroidered lace and embellished with pink ribbon and an ostrich feather.
She is on a jointed composition body that does present age-related wear, as well as a repaint with a pink tinge and discoloration to hands. She wears an antique tambour lace dress with a robin’s egg blue silk lining, puffed sleeves and a full skirt with a pink sash, plus a pink beaded necklace. Underneath, she wears an antique slip, vintage pantaloons and lace stockings. Black leather shoes with ribbon ties complete her costume. Head incised: S 15 H 939
