19 1/2” Kestner Child, a seldom found 129 model, this charming German bisque socket head child by J.D. Kestner features expressive, icy blue glass sleep eyes (some wax loss to eyelids), an open mouth with teeth, lovely coloring, and a honey blonde human hair wig in sweet curls. On a ball-jointed composition body that retains it’s original finish (with normal age related wear), she wears an antique drop waist cotton dress with a Bertha collar and lace embellishments, pink silk ribbons are threaded at cuffs, waist and collar. Her face is framed just so with an antique, intricately woven horsehair hat embellished with flowers. She wears lace-trimmed under things, black stockings and brown leather shoes.
