"Attic Find" Child by J.D. Kestner - Mold 146

$1,250.00

32” child by J.D. Kestner, mold #146, featuring expressive blue glass sleep-eyes, an incredible, original ash blonde mohair wig (with cap in fragile condition) the original plaster pate, an open mouth with teeth and a slightly double dimpled chin. She has beautiful bisque with some slight losses to ear edges in the greenware stage of production.
She is on a Kestner ball-jointed composition body in good condition save normal age related wear and some chipping to composition at neck opening. She wears a white cotton dress with a lace trimmed bertha collar, rows of tucks and a lace inset at the hem, dress does show age related scattered damage and discoloration, but displays beautifully!
Her antique flannel slip keeps her nice and cozy and her antique petticoat is lavished with tucks, embroidery and lace and is in sturdy condition with overall age associated discoloration. She wears an antique organdy cotton bonnet in nice condition with cream silk ties. Her replacement pale grey, shoes and cream stockings complete the charming look.
Head Incised: Made in Germany M 1/2 16 1/2 146.
