Part of a recently arrived collection of small dolls who represent examples of dress from around the world, we offer “Austrian.” The model doll herself appears to be a perfect Armand Marseille 1894 with a perfect bisque swivel head, featuring brown glass sleep-eyes, single stroke brows and an open mouth with teeth and her original blonde mohair wig. The body is a jointed composition one of good quality, with stick legs, and arms jointed at the elbows. The darling costume, showing fading, is composed of various cottons, lace, tatting, and silk velvet ribbon. and metallic trimming. A wonderful straw hat adorned with flowers, and original oilcloth shoes complete the presentation of Miss Austria, 1918.
