Please note, this Posy Holder is not a miniature, but a full-sized piece for use by a lady. Dating from the latter part of the nineteenth century, this silver-plate on finely cast metal example features exquisite design, details and construction. It retains its finger ring suspended from a delicate chain, as well as the pin that would pierce the stems of the bunch of flowers, securing the bouquet inside. In very good condition overall.
