Here is something that you won’t see everyday, but will be great in a doll display - a lidded Box that has been decorated as a fancy Layer Cake. The illusion of marzipan is achieved by soft green paint, while the frosting decoration was achieved with a rubbery caulk-type product. This would be spectacular displayed upon a miniature pedestal in your French fashion doll buffet, or this fun piece could work in bridal scene as well.
Although not antique, the box remains in very good condition overall.
