Found in France several years ago, and perfect for display in your fashion doll vignettes, is an extremely well done oil on copper depicting a group of men playing cards around a table. Featuring an 18th C. ambience, one of the men in the group raises a glass, another plays a tune on a flute, while a dog sniffs the ground for scraps. Fine work overall, it is housed in a rosewood frame with gilt liner.
In very good condition and complete with a loop for hanging.
