Bébé Jumeau 8 from the SFBJ-era who stands just over eighteen inches tall -- details of this very pretty example include a perfect head with smooth bisque and lovely coloring, brown paperweight eyes highlighted by lush full lashes and classic Jumeau brows, pierced ears with turquoise glass earrings, an open mouth with molded teeth, and a lovely antique blonde mohair wig worn down in soft curls. Her jointed composition body retains the original finish in good condition, save for normal, age-related wear. As is the case with many models of this era, the hands have been repainted due to flaking.
Mademoiselle wears a remarkable jumper style dress over a fine cotton blouse accented by exquisite lace, and do not miss the fabulous cream silk grosgrain sash and crocheted gloves!
A coordinating chapeau, red stockings and antique shoes in her size complete the lovely package.
