This classically beautiful and substantially sized bébé stands at just over twenty-four inches tall, and is a lovely product of François Gaultier. A block letter model impressed F.9.G. Features of this magnificent example include very expressive, spiral-threaded blue paperweight eyes, a closed closed mouth with a molded tongue, glorious coloring, a full blonde mohair wig worn down, and pierced ears.
On a Gesland body in good condition, save normal, age-related wear and re-paint to the legs ad forearms, Mlle. Gaultier wears a fabulous drop waist dress of blue silk satin with pink satin and lace accents and a bustle back. A gorgeous bonnet of cream silk lavishly embellished with ribbons, highlights her spectacular face to perfection (silk tender and does present damage.) She wears lovely blue antique leather shoes, fine cotton underclothing and stockings. This is an FG bebe to cherish forever and ever. Head Incised: F.9.G
