Here is a wonderful package that includes what we refer to as an "almost Bleuette" – a 10” SFBJ 301 who would make a lovely little sister to an actual Bleuette. Features include a very pretty perfect bisque head with blue glass sleep-eyes, an open mouth with teeth, and her original mohair wig. The jointed wood and composition body retains the original finish, showing slight, normal wear and scattered losses, plus a very special detail - a SFBJ Paris paper label!
The sweet doll is housed in a lovely lidded presentation box that retains its “Au Nain Bleu” paper label, and contains the doll herself who wears a slip and original shoes, plus knitted socks, cotton underthings, a finely woven straw hat, two silk taffeta and lace-detailed dresses (the rose pink one does present splitting and tenderness) and finally a celluloid baby doll of her very own (re-glue to a section on the back of the head.) A lovely time capsule of a petite French doll.
