This dreamy Bébé Steiner A features soft modeling and lovely painting to her perfect bisque head. Further details include deep blue paperweight eyes, and pierced ears (one earring missing.) An antique honey blonde mohair wig in curls frames her face and is topped with a finely woven, wide brimmed horsehair hat trimmed in blue silk.
Her original Steiner body remains in good condition, but it appears to have been given a coat of shellac some time back, giving it a glossy finish.
She wears an incredible dropped waist dress with a ruched plastron in robin’s egg blue silk, a blue net underskirt and an ecru tambour lace overlay (dress does present age related shattering to silk.) Open weave ecru stockings and antique size 5 silk bébé shoes complete her presentation. An antique Bébé pin is worn at her throat.
