Bebe Jumeau 8 from the SFBJ era of the firm, details include a very pretty and perfect poured bisque head impressed BEBE JUMEAU 8, an open mouth with teeth, exquisite chocolate brown paperweight eyes in even eye cuts, pierced ears and a gorgeous, antique mohair wig in lovely blonde.
On a jointed composition body with the original paint finish in good condition (showing some in-painting to hands), complete with the blue Jumeau stamp and an inoperable voice box, Mlle. wears a sweet ensemble that is composed of pale blue silk taffeta, over which is placed lace in various applications. The wired chapeau is a (tender) confection of tulle, lace, flowers and ribbons, while antique Alart shoes complete the presentation.
