A child doll’s costume doesn’t come anymore classic and appealing than this red wool sailor Dress. There are three box pleats down the center of the dress, as well as three down the back. Red featherstitching decorates the edge of the ivory faille sailor collar and insert as well as the matching cuffs. The dress opens in the front at one edge of the insert. There are belt loops on either side of the dress, and there is not a belt, but a wide ivory grosgrain ribbon would complete the look nicely. The overall condition is excellent, suitable for a German child or character doll approximately 21” in height.
