Any all-original fashion doll is a wonderful find, and this thirteen-inch example, who we attribute to Eugene Barrois is certainly no exception. A pretty, perfect, swivel head model with lovely painting, she boasts a perfect shoulderplate, cobalt eyes with delicate lashes and brows, pierced-through ears fitted with earrings, and her original honey blonde mohair wig worn up in an intricate bun in back.
On a gusseted leather body that boasts long bisque arms, (flake to finger on left hand) Mlle. Barrois wears an elegant, original, two-piece ensemble in black wool with black taffeta accents.  The styling is classic, with graceful draping, decorative top-stitching, plus covered buttons and delicate lace accents. Additional features include a marvelous original chapeau, brass pendant watch, a pierced brass fan and antique leather slippers.
