Beautifully costumed as a Governess, details include a perfect bisque shoulderhead, cobalt blue eyes, an open mouth with two rows of teeth and a wonderful auburn mohair wig, worn up. She wears a spectacular costume of cotton net over deep blue silk, along with a silk apron trimmed in lace and bows, plus a tall hat that denotes her important stature.
On a carton body which encloses her mechanism, when wound, she will glide along, her lovely and perfect bisque arms lifting and lowering her exquisitely costumed infant, while “the baby” repeatedly emits a cry of “Mama.”
