16 ½” early French China fashion that we attribute to Claude Joseph Blampoix, with fine features that include a beautifully fired china shoulderhead with lovely coloring, cobalt blue glass eyes and a darling curly wig.
On a classic leather body that features the “Brevete” stamp upon the chest, Mlle. is costumed in the enfantine manner in a classic Huret-style dress of silk plaid. Just a bit of silken passementerie outlines the bertha collar and modified pagoda sleeves.  In addition, she wears fine undergarments and antique leather boots. (Loss to heels.) This early poupee will display beautifully with your other enfantine examples from the Rohmer and Huret families of dolls.
