English Poured Wax Child

$5,500.00

Bonnie is an twenty-six inch tall English poured Wax child with infinite charm. Most likely a fine product born of the Meech workshop, circa 1860, Bonnie boasts lovely modeling, gorgeous coloring, soft blue inset glass eyes, and inserted hair in honey blonde. On a stuffed cloth body, it is fitted with poured wax limbs that remain in good condition, save for the right arm which has had a piece out and put back in near the top.
This exquisite wax child wears a sweet enfantine era jumper style dress in rich green brocade, over an eyelet blouse that features amazing embroidery. In addition, Bonnie wears a superb antique bonnet with blond lace accents, crochet stockings and pink leather boots.
If one's eyes truly are the windows to one's soul, Bonnie's eyes reveals the soul of an angel.
