We are pleased to offer a wonderful African American Folk Art cloth doll. Her face is beautifully embroidered with feathered brows, a dimensional appliqued nose and full, embroidered lips in a coral hue that part to reveal two embroidered front teeth. She wears a cotton flannel head wrap in a pattern of white stars on a background of soft red. Her body features slender, tapered limbs and delightful, stitched hands (body is in good condition with some settling of the filling in upper arms and upper legs.) She wears a charming frock style dress in antique calico with a mix of vintage buttons down the front and a hand sewn border in coral cotton with green stitching. A pair of cream cotton socks (with an area of mending to left sock) completes her charming presentation.
