Here we have something created from the popular “dolls by the yard” concept that featured dolls printed on flat sheets of cloth that mother could sew and stuff at home for her little one. This example has been well-loved - that is obvious. There is soiling overall, and it appears that a serious repair was done around the neck at some point, but there is still life left in this large example. She wears a sweet printed cotton dress, with patch pockets, that coordinates with her printed hair bow, plus do not miss her necklace featuring a Kewpie carved from ox bone.
