Circa 1830, this marvelous Tuck Comb Wooden from the Grodner Tal features a darling, youthful expression. Further details include wonderful painted hair with wisps at the temples, blushed cheeks, a carved and painted yellow comb, and the very nice bonus of pierced ears, with one of her original, wood, drop earrings intact (right earring hole retains post, but wooden drop missing.)
On an all wood articulated body, (joints are tight) with cloth slippers applied over her feet, she wears an original, gorgeous, printed light wool dress with Empire styling, leg o' mutton sleeves and a layered silk inset at the bodice. A coordinating bonnet frames her face. A marvelous young lady who is ready and willing to breathe some life into your early dollhouses or special vignette. She remains in wonderful condition with some normal, scattered, age related wear to paint.
