This sweet pair appear to have stepped out of a fairy tale, possibly Hansel and Gretel. Each remains in perfect condition with beautiful molding and painting, wide set blue eyes, full, blushed cheeks and black painted hair.
Their delightfully chunky bodies feature bare feet and clenched fists and are in wonderful condition. She wears a red wool skirt and a black velvet bodice with green stitching over a muslin blouse with a ruff style collar, while he wears red cotton britches and a black velvet vest with a green yarn detail at chest over a sleeveless muslin top.
The pair remains in excellent condition and will be a wonderful to addition to your early doll collection.
