We are delighted to offer a magnificent early wooden doll who retains her original costuming denoting her a nun. Details include a lovely, painted wooden head (crazing and flake at nose) with very sweet features framed by an attached veil. Wooden, articulated arms and legs are attached to the wooden torso and her legs terminate in painted-pink slippers.
Her habit is comprised of fine wool in a rich brown hue with a black wool veil and ecru wool cape (several small holes to cape) she wears a belt of black cord and carries a rosary of antique beads. A rare and lovely survivor.
