We are pleased to offer a lovely “Alice” head china with a parian finish. Features include a perfect shoulderhead and a nicely painted face with blue eyes, deeply blushed cheeks and rose hued lips. Her wavy, wheat blonde hair is swept back by a narrow, black headband (scattered rubs to headband.) She is on a coth body with china limbs and her shapely lower arms terminate in semi-closed hands while her lower legs feature delicate, heeled black boots and painted-on blue garters. She wears a cotton dress in a gorgeous, old fashioned shade of pink plus a crisp cotton apron. A hooded, red wool cloak lined in cream silk completes her presentation. She carries an antique basket filled with three ceramic bread loaves.
