Here we have a wonderful Neapolitan creche figure. His shoulderhead features an expressive character face with ruddy cheeks, a delightful, five o’ clock shadow, wavy brown hair (rubs throughout hair) and inset green glass eyes. His amazing costume features a scarlet silk frock coat lined in blue silk, a royal blue velvet waist coat, and blue dupioni silk britches all embellished with bullion style soutache trim (costume does present age related wear and discoloration throughout.) He is on a hemp body wrapped in thread with detailed hands and shapely carved wood lower legs and shoes.
