Here we have a wonderful black papier-mache young man made in Germany. Details include nice facial painting with brown eyes, vivid red lips and a head of curly molded and painted hair. He is on a wooden milliners model-type body with graceful, tapered hands and lower legs with knee-high cream stockings and green painted-on slippers (normal, age related wear to legs and feet.) He wears a two piece costume in gray wool featuring short pants and a tunic trimmed in cream lace and embellished with metalic finish stars as faux buttons.
