We are pleased to offer a wonderful china head doll as sewing companion. She features a flat top black painted hairstyle with a row of sausage curls in the back (some finish loss to hair.) Her expressive face features fine molding and painting with blue eyes, deeply blushed cheeks and a tiny, rose hued mouth in a sweet smile. Her shoulderhead and china spoon arms (both in wonderful condition) are incorporated into a pincushion style body with a costume of folded layers of time softened, jewel toned wool. A cape of brown wool frames her face. Around her waist, she wears a variety of apron style pockets including a front apron in teal wool, an oilcloth pocket in aqua, and a needle holder in fawn silk with red stitching. A length of twisted cord holds a pair of tiny, silver toned scissors. Her front apron holds a bone sewing tool (needle / awl), and a card of cotton string folded in a piece of paper that reads: “To aunt Mame from Mom - bot in London.”
