This little lady not only has a beautiful face, but is a mechanical marvel! Features include a black painted hairstyle with feathering at temples and a row of curls held back with a gilt band. Her expressive face includes blue eyes, hooded eyelids, delicately blushed cheeks and vivid, rose red lips. Her shoulderhead is on a carton body with leather arms (age related wear / darkening to leather and loss of stuffing to right hand.) Her lower body is in the form of a full skirt which is mounted on a light wooden base from which extends her metal, boot style legs. A key is inserted in her left side to set her legs in motion. She wears a fine cotton dress in a calico print with rose colored silk ribbon embellishments.
