Here we have a primitive cloth doll with a charming costume and a lovely aged patina. Her hand-painted features include indigo blue eyes with full lashes, blushed cheeks, coral hued lips and painted on black hair. Further details include a firmly stuffed cloth body with tapered hands and feet. Her body is made of a variety of fabrics; including cream colored brocade, with a white cotton overlay to her torso, cream cotton arms, and lower legs of pale blue satin finish cotton with integrated black velvet boots (overall wear and scattered holes to body.)
Her sewn on, two-piece costume is of red and cream gingham with a fine cotton apron. Underneath, she wears wool pantaloons and a lace trimmed petticoat (costume does present overall scattered age related holes and wear.)
